Check your dog's eyes, ears and teeth regularly. Consult your veterinarian if you find anything unusual or concerning. Check also for sores or abnormal redness or even blood or pus. If your dog has "fishies" but is otherwise acting normally, eating normally and excreting normally, there is not much a vet can do.

This is really good advice. I wish I’d read it before going with debtwave. I should have done more reseach.
